The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve single malt whisky is a tribute to George Smith, the man who started it all! In 1824 George Smith made a daring move and got a license to legally produce single malt Whisky and from that the The Glenlivet was born!

 Boasting the classic flavours of The Glenlivet bound up in a creamy, smooth texture, The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve has been matured in first fill American oak. This expression of the World-renowned malt pays homage to the history of Glenlivet as well as the future.

Colour

Amber Gold.

Nose

Very clean and fresh, cut apples and pears enriched by a rich toffee character. Slight floral note, with menthol and custard-tart notes.

Palate

The gentle fruitiness continues on to the palate, with pear the dominant note, accompanied by a refreshing mintiness. Very soft texture and mouthfeel with no rough edges. Easy to drink.

Finish

Creamy toffee to the fore now, a little oak and sweet barley sugar warmth too. Milk chocolate raisins linger.
