Like the Kavalan Sherry Oak, the Kavalan ex-Bourbon Oak takes the same phenomenal liquid used for the Ultra Premium, Cask Strength, Kavalan Solist releases and reduces it to a strength of 46% using Kavalan spring water. This Single Malt is incredibly smooth with a soft sweetness, losing any harshness of the alcohol's edge. Matured exclusively in ex-Bourbon casks in Taiwan`s sub-tropical climate, this malt displays a juicy, fruity character with subtle spice notes - It has a clean and fresh tropical fruitiness with lingering vanilla, coconut and spices.
