Kavalan Single Malt Whisky Sherry Oak is a Sherry bomb of a deep mahogany color and layers and layers of fruit. And all the numbers line up too: no artificial anything and no chillfiltering, 46% ABV, and aged 100% in premium Oloroso Sherry casks from Spain.

Kavalan Oloroso Sherry Oak starts by reducing the cask strength, Ultra Premium, Solist Oloroso Sherry (59.9% ABV) with Kavalan spring water to 46% alcoholic strength. It is easy to drink and is the perfect single malt whisky to share with friends and family. Clean and complex with multiple layers of dried fruit, nuttiness and spices, it has some marzipan and vanilla touches to it.

Palate

Rich, smooth, well-balanced natural sweetness, viscous with baked pears, lingering spice, and a whiff of espresso. Full of pleasant dried fruit and spices.

Finish

The whisky leaves a beautifully elegant, lusciously smooth and long finish.
