Teeling Single Grain

Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey is crafted using an unconventional mash bill consisting of 95% corn and 5% malted barley that has been triple distilled and matured exclusively in French oak Ex-Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks from California, producing a truly unique Irish Whiskey. The wine barrels create a very distinctive rich amber colour while imparting strong spicy notes and lush red berries and grape flavours. Like all the Teeling Whiskeys, it's bottled at 46% with no chill filtration, allowing for all the natural flavours of the Whiskey to be retained.

Rich gold.

NOSE

A mix of fruity and spicy aromas tingling around the presence of vanilla and dark chocolate.

PALATE

Dry and spicy in the first stage, then cranberries and plums from the use of red wine cask to the more rounder softer notes of honey and butterscotch. 

FINISH

The tannic influence of the red wine creates a unique, short, dry finish, encouraging another sip.
